Owners of the Guesthouse: Martin and Nicolena Hurley

HOST EXPERIENCE

Martin and Nicolena, the proprietors of The Old George and Dragon Guesthouse, have a proven track record in the local and international hospitality industry.

Martin commenced his career with Hyatt International Hotel Group and held a number of positions in its hotels throughout Australia and overseas during a period of 10 years employment. Within this 10-year period Martin progressed to the position of Front Office Manager.

Nicolena commenced her career in the hospitality industry in 1990 with Hyatt International in Sydney in Front Office Management, progressing to positions in Sales and Marketing where she was appointed Director Marketing and Sales with Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts and most recently returning from a 2 year contract with The Sukhothai - Bangkok Thailand. Nicolena has extensive experience in Sales with a focus on marketing in the local and international tourism market.
